Bistro and Pub Tables

Counter height tables, also called Bistro tables are 36 inches high. These tables are the same height as the average kitchen counter.  Stool heights of 24-26 inches work best with Bistro tables. Bistro tables are a fantastic dining option for kitchens where stools are already used around a kitchen island.  Today's kitchens are the gathering area in most homes.  Counter height, Bistro tables add another area for guests to congregate, or as an additional work or serving space.

Many Bistro tables are available with additional leaves to enlarge the table.  This option works great if you have a kitchen island with stools.  When you add the leaf to the table, simply move the stools over from the island to seat additional diners.
